I'm the youngest of four children by seven years. My mom was pretty young when she married and had her first three children. That relatioship eventually didn't work out, but seven years and three cities later I came around. It's probably safe to say that I wasn't exactly planned, but I'm happy to report that I was never a regret. I never had a relationship with my biological father, but I can't imagine what life would be like without my mother and older siblings. My mom eventually married a man who adopted me, my brother and two sisters. It was then that I learned what a stable home life was like, and the kind of man I wanted to be.
Between working two jobs, going to college and starting a business at the age of 19, it took meeting my future wife to realize again the value of family and what it's worth when you put the effort into it.
