I started playing baseball when I was 10 years old. I remember sitting at the dinner table and my parents asking me what I wanted to get involved in. I had never watched or played a sport, so I'm not positive on how I zeroed in on baseball, but it's been a part of my life ever since. After high school, I didn't focus much time on playing sports as I had multiple jobs, college classes and started a business. There simply wasn't time. However, baseball is something that I always long to play, so usually after five or so years of not playing, I find a way to make it happen again. The last season I played was a little more difficult than the rest because we only played once a week and the rest of the week I wasn't focussed on it all. I hope to play again, but next time will be when I can get more into it physically and mentally.
